Washer Agreement
1. Independent contractor
You run your own business and are not an employee, agent or partner of ZipWash. You choose when you go online, which requests you offer on and at what price. You supply your own equipment, water, products and transport, and you are responsible for your own tax, registrations and insurance.
2. Verification and approval
- Before you can take jobs you must verify your identity with our verification partner and be approved by ZipWash.
- You must keep your details, bank account and profile photo accurate, and the profile photo must be of you.
- Only you may perform jobs you accept. Do not share your account.
3. Doing the job
- Arrive within the time you offered, or tell the client through the app.
- Take the before and after photos the app asks for and complete the checklist honestly.
- Use water responsibly and follow local by-laws and any water restrictions.
- Treat the client's property with care. You are responsible for damage you cause.
4. Fees and payment
- The price a client pays includes ZipWash's service fee. The app shows what you will earn before you send an offer.
- ZipWash collects payment from the client as your payment agent. Your earnings are added to your balance once the wash is completed and the client's payment has been captured.
- Balances are paid to your verified South African bank account on the payout schedule shown in the app, after ZipWash reviews the payout batch. A minimum payout amount may apply; smaller balances roll over.
- A refund given to a client for a problem with your work may be deducted from your balance.
- The name on your bank account must match your verified identity.
5. Location
While you are on the way to an accepted job, the app shares your live position with that client only. It stops when you start washing.
6. Suspension and ending
You may stop using ZipWash at any time. ZipWash may suspend or end your access for fraud, safety concerns, repeated complaints or breach of this agreement, and will tell you why. Earned balances are still paid, less valid deductions.
